COPIAPO, CHILE: Awaiting first rescu from san jose mine

The beginning of the rescue of 33 miners from the San Jose mine in Copiapo, Chile who were trapped 2,297 (700m) feet underground after the mine collapsed on 5 August began Now, Florencio Avalos 31 years the first miner to go out in a specially constructed capsules to protect the minor and equipped with a camera and a headset to communicate with the rescue team.
Florencio Avalos, age 31, will be the first of 33 miners brought to the surface, followed by Mario Sepulveda (39 years), and Bolivian Carlos Mamani (23 years).
The younger brother of Florencio Avalos Avalos Renan, is also located at the bottom of the mine.

 It is reported to take 20 minutes to ride up 2,041 feet to reach ground level. The New York Daily News reports that the rescued miners will then be taken into ambulances when they resurface. They will then be taken to a triage station to be checked by doctors then reunited with family members. After reuniting with family, the miners will be flown to Copiapo where they will spend two days in observation at a hospital.
